Frank P. Mart, age 99, passed away on November 14, 2017 at his residence in Metairie. Husband of the late Dorothy Griffith Mart. Father of Diane Mart Hudson (Edward), Frankie Mart Arseneaux, Janeen Mart Prestenbach and the late James Griffith Mart. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Pauline Scholotter Mart, and his granddaughter, Bonnie Jean Prestenbach. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 5 great great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Frank was a member of the Holy Name Society, was with the American Legion Post #175 for over 50 years, a Boy Scout leader for 20 years, received the St. George Award, and a recipient of the St. Louis Medallion. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Christopher the Martyr Catholic Church, 309 Manson Avenue, Metairie on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 12:30 pm with visitation beginning at 10:30 am.
