June (Peachie) Savarese Fournet, peacefully entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 7:35 am, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Alvin P. Fournet, Sr. Daughter of the late Edward John George Savarese and Clayalia Gladys Walle Savarese. Beloved mother of Alvin P. Fournet, Jr and Darlene Fournet Fox (Edward). Grandmother of Angele Fox, Casey Hamblin (Alex), Eddie, III and Justin Fox (Jeanne). Great grandmother of Jase Hamblin and William Fox. Sister of the late Clayalia Borel (late Louie), Edward Savarese, Jr (late Grace), Jewel Benchoff (late Bob), Althea Nickolaus (late Freddie), Iris Brehm (late Lynn) and Ralph Savarese. Also survived by nieces and nephews. She was a resident of Harahan for over 50 years, and was a former telephone operator with Bell South. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N.
