Share Tribute:

Robert “Robbie” Day, age 46, was granted his angel wings on July 15, 2017.  His final days were spent surrounded by his family and friends that he had touched in some small way throughout his very memorable life.

Robbie’s life may seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. He had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. His gentle smile brought so much joy to our family.

Robbie gave us all courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life.  He loved fishing, target shooting, painting, drawing, and he loved to tinker with electronics and absolutely loved tape. He loved our “Family Days” and loved when we all played Spoons.
He was born in Marrero, Louisiana and he graduated from Grace King High School.
Robbie was married to Barbara Dowd in October 1999, they were married for 15 years.
Beloved brother of William “Bill” Day, Jr., Cas Day, David Landry (Kathy), Nola Aromy (Rick), Barbara Favret (Tim), Ann Marie Day Neill (David).
