Agnes Mae Louise Johnson

Agnes Mae Johnson was born October 20, 1931 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She passed away peacefully, cared for by her loving family and devoted caregiver on September 3, 2021 at the age of 89. Agnes was happily married to the late Elwell Johnson for 39 years. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Richard Blaise. She was blessed with two grandchildren, Colin and Caitlin Blaise. She cherished her loving sister, Vivian Ward Madere, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her parents James Thomas and Agnes Casey Ward, husband Elwell Johnson, brother Thomas Ward and sister Inez Ward Burns. Her family was a source of great joy and happiness. She delighted in the simple things in life such as over a cup of coffee, babysitting all the young ones and playing with her beloved dog, Bingo. Her family wishes to thank the staff of Louisiana Hospice and her wonderful caretaker, Patricia Thomas for their loving care. Family will have a private service.
