On April 19, 2021, Alice Louise Cresson Arrigo passed away at the age of 93. Alice was born February 13, 1928. She married August (Augie/Gus) Arrigo on June 19, 1948 and they raised four children. Alice was a talented seamstress, belonged to the Happy Pairs and the School-House Squares dancing groups, enjoyed playing cards and dominoes, and was active at the Jefferson Parish Senior Center (Pink House). She was the life of the party. Alice retired from a long career with AT&T. She will be remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 72 years, August Frank Arrigo, father Charles Louis Cresson Jr., mother Camille Mangin Cresson, siblings Camille Fichter, Lucille LeBon, Marie Louise Duvernay, Marie Antoinette Cox, Charles Emanuel Cresson, and Eugene Able Cresson. She is survived by a brother Robert Anthony Cresson, Sr. She is also survived by four children Sue Pratt (Jim), Gail Valvis (Guy), Roy Arrigo (Tammy), Jill Cannon (Max), nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to her caregivers at the Beau Maison residence for the love and excellent care they provided to Alice and Augie. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation for both Alice and Augie on Monday, May 3, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a mass at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. Metairie. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery number 3.
