Alice H. Morgan

Alice May Heinsz Morgan, age 98, of Metairie, LA, passed away on August 6, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on May 3, 1924 to parents, William Otto Heinsz and Mary Borgstede in New Orleans. She was married to the love of her life, Thomas Harry Morgan, on January 9, 1946. She spent her happiest days with family and friends fishing, crabbing, playing games at their family camp in Grand Isle, LA. When friends would ask how she was doing, she would respond with, “I’m still kicking, just not as high.” Alice is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Harry Morgan and sons, Thomas William Morgan and Kenneth Richard Morgan. She is survived by her son, Timothy Joseph Morgan, Sr. Grandchildren Leslie Driver, Tracie Morgan, Kelli Seidnitzer, Dawn Holland, Nicole Milgate, Timothy Morgan Jr., Zachary Morgan, Chase Morgan, Brianne Morgan and their spouses, in addition to 17 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Tharp Sontheimer Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. Metairie, followed by a Memorial Service. Inurnment at Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans.
