Mr Armand Joseph Steger Jr.

Armand (A.J.) Steger Jr. passed away peacefully at St. Joseph of Harahan Care Facility on December 25, 2020 at the age of 67. Armand (A.J.) was preceded in death by his parents Gloria “Miki” Steger and Armand Steger Sr. and his sister Pamela Steger Posecai. He is survived by his brother Edward Steger Sr. (Kerri) and brother in law Scott Posecai Sr. (Jackie). Uncle of Brandi Posecai Carapina (Joey), Edward Steger Jr., Scott Posecai Jr., and Amanda Steger. Great-Uncle of Kolbe Golden, Josepha Carapina Jr., and Charles Carapina.
Armand (A.J.) graduated from East Jefferson High School and attended Louisiana State University of New Orleans. He enjoyed fishing, LSU football and baseball, New Orleans Saints football and was an avid artist. From the age of six, his passion was tennis. He was a member of the United States Tennis Association and was a recreational tennis coach USPTA # 64696. He loved his family dearly. He was his mother’s constant companion and took care of her until her death in November 2020.
At his request, we will have a private cremation.
