Betty Bujol Loker

Betty Bujol Loker entered peacefully into God’s loving arms on January 14, 2021. Betty was just short of her 93rd birthday on February 2, 1928 and died of natural causes. She was the devoted and loving wife of the late Thomas Jenkins Semmes Loker. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Russell and Aline Aubert Bujol. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Cartan Loker. She is survived by two children, Margaret “Peggy” Loker Rowbatham (Charles) and Thomas Jenkins Semmes Loker, Jr. (Julie); Seven grandchildren, Stuart Miller, Lindsay and Daniel Detillier, Rachel and Nicholas Rowbatham, Mikaela and Jessica Loker; four great grandchildren, Bella, Brooklyn, and Brinlee Miller and Silas Detillier and a loving sister, Kathryn “Mutsie” Elizabeth Bujol. Visitation will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Road, Destrehan, Louisiana on January 16, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with a Mass following at noon. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
