Carol Ann Ruholl

Carol Ann Ruholl went to join her Savior in heaven on April 2, 2024. Beloved wife of Francis Ruholl. She was born on December 3, 1946, in Kankakee, Illinois to Melba and Ray Rainford of Momence, Illinois. She graduated from Momence High School in 1964 and went on to attend community college while working at Baker and Taylor book publisher. Carol married her husband of fifty-six years on September 17, 1966 and followed Frank as he pursued his military career in the Air Force. She was very active and enjoyed all the diverse places that they lived, Guam, Puerto Rico as well as across the United States. Her travels led to her love of collecting, including her well-known collection of Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Her work included photographer assistant, jewelry dealer, and florist. Carol was involved in many organizations, both military and civilian. She was division coordinator and International Auxiliary President of the Air Force Sergeants Association, Sovereign Grand Warden of the Louisiana Rebekah Assembly and reveled in her involvement with the East Jefferson Golden Age group where she was queen in 2022. Carol was very active in Munholland Church and served as president of the UMW.
The Funeral Service will be held at Munholland Methodist Church, 1201 Metairie Road, Metairie, LA 70005 on Saturday, April 13th, Visitation at 1PM, Service at 2PM with a reception to follow in the fellowship hall. Interment in Hill Crest Memorial Park, Haughton, LA on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. In lieu of flowers make a donation to your favorite charity in her memory.
