Deirdra Ann Daigle

Deirdra Ann “dee” Daigle, born December 11, 1961, aged 60, died on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at her residence in Metairie, Louisiana.
She was the daughter of the late Wilbur Joseph “Joe” Daigle and the late Jacqueline Delhomme Daigle. She is also proceeded in death by her beloved niece Kendall Michelle Daigle. Dee is survived by her four siblings: Mary Juanita D. Galjour (Mark), Douglas Lee Daigle (Sissy), Susan D. Toepfer (David), and Daniel J. Daigle (Michelle). She is also survived by her lifelong dear friend Cheryl G. Anderson, her beloved nieces and nephews – Gaston P. Galjour, Dr. Jennifer L. Galjour, Angelique Daigle Richardson, Joseph L. Daigle, Dr. Jessica Toepfer Hagstette, Nicole Toepfer Bartholemew, and Taylor Daigle Chassaignac – and 14 and one-half grand nieces and nephews.
dee graduated from Delgado College with an associate’s degree in Medical Coding and worked for Ochsner Hospital. dee was an advocate for animals and supported the SPCA for many years. She will be missed by her faithful goldendoodle, Amber Leigh. She was passionate about her family and friends and knew no strangers.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Danny’s home. Please contact the family for the address.
