Donald “Pep” Romano passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday June 9th at home at the age of 70. Donald was a long-time salesman at Brown’s Dairy and Hubig Pies, and he later became chief of maintenance at Yorkshire Court Condominiums before retiring. Donald was the youngest of the five children of Jacob Romano, Sr., and Ruth Hebert Romano. He is survived by his son Ryan, his wife Linda, his stepdaughter Cherie, his grandchildren Wes and Alyssa, his older siblings (sister Arlene and his brothers Jake, Tommy, & twin brother Ronnie), and many other dear family members and friends. Donald was a lifelong sports fan who particularly enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves, the New Orleans Saints, and Fair Grounds Horse Racing. Much more importantly, he was a beloved brother, father, grandfather, husband, son, and uncle. He will be forever missed.
