Doris W Rosen

Doris Rosen of Metairie, Louisiana passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on May 2, 2023. Doris Weinstein was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She moved to New Orleans as a young woman and soon met and married Howard Rosen, with whom she enjoyed a long and loving marriage. Doris and Howard shared a love of family and international travel, and were active members of Shir Chadash Conservative Synagogue. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Howard. She is survived by her loving children Alisa (Jon) Wyner, twins Robin (Tim) McQuinn and Eydie (Rodger) Pryzant, Glen (Amy) Rosen, and Hal Rosen. Doris was a loving grandmother to Jackie (Eric) Kalis, Emmett (Christina) McQuinn, Ilana McQuinn, Evan (Maggie) Pryzant, Reid Pryzant, Jane Pryzant, Gavin Rosen and Ella Rosen, as well as her two great-grandchildren Alison and Ayla Kalis. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Tikvat Shalom Cemetery in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, 11316 River Rd, St. Rose, LA.
