Douglas C. Torres

Douglas C. Torres, 58, of Metairie, LA passed away on May 31, 2021. He was the son of Carolyn and the late Joseph Torres Sr.
Douglas was an avid sports lover and was a former baseball coach for little league. He also loved riding his motorcycle and the beach.
Predeceased by his father, and his son, baby Brandon Torres.
Douglas is survived by his mom, his son, Ian (Jessica) Torres, brother, Joseph Torres Jr., sister Cynthia (Dennis) Rinck; grandkids, Miles and Sadie Torres; niece, Tiffany (Clay) Callaghan; nephew, Dennis (Katie) Rinck Jr., great niece, Kassidy Callaghan, great nephews, Shawn and Jackson Rinck, Dylan (Alicia) Callaghan.
A Memorial Gathering will take place at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd, Metairie, LA 70001 on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 11:00 am-12:00 pm followed by a Mass. Inurnment will be held privately.
