Edgar “Eddie” Albert Romaguera, Jr passed away peacefully on Friday, September 1st 2023 at the age of 77. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Linda Maggio Romaguera. Father to Lisa Camhout (Jacques), Wendy Peters (Kendall), Dina Fiorella (TJ Tyler “New Guy”) and Juliette Hefler (Scott “OG”). Preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Albert Romaguera, Sr. and Catherine Fortado Romaguera. Brother of Diane Breaux (late Randall) and Michael H. Romaguera, MD (Leslie). Proud grandfather of Kevin Roberts, Kendall Peters Jr, Owen Peters, Sofia Dickson, Alyssa Dickson, Maya Fiorella, Tommy Tyler, Korbin Hefler, and Heidi Mae Hefler and his beloved dog and best friend Rocco.

Eddie was born on August 8th 1946 in New Orleans, LA where he was a longtime resident. He graduated from East Jefferson High School in 1964, attended Southeastern Louisiana University and proudly served in the US Army stationed in Germany. Eddie will always be remembered for telling jokes, his love for his corvette, LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints and sitting on his front porch with his best buddy Rocco.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd., Metairie, LA 70002 on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home.
