Edward F. Bertucci

Edward F. Bertucci Sr. passed away September 12, 2021 at the age of 92. He was the loving husband of the late Ruth Conzonere (1st marriage) and Theresa Shall (2nd marriage). Father of Deborah Vicknair (Donnie), Edward F. Jr. (Chris), Bruce Bertucci, Gloria “Sue” Elfer (Herman), Michael Bertucci (April); stepfather of Bruce Vosbein (Lisa) and Billy Vosbein (Pam). Son of the late, John J. Bertucci and Mary M. Dell; stepson of Felicia Bertucci. Edward was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Junda, son Terry M. Bertucci and brother, George Bertucci.
He is survived by 23 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 9 great- great grandchildren, daughter in law, Debra Bertucci, a host of nieces, nephews, loving friends and neighbors, Edward will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched. He is a retired Captain of the Jefferson Parish Fire Department and a World War II veteran.
A Visitation will take place at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd, Metairie, LA 70001 on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 10:00 am- 11:00 am.
