Ernest Louis Chassaniol

Ernest Louis Chassaniol III passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the age of 70. He was a native New Orleanian, and a lifelong resident of Slidell and the owner of Dependable Paint & Body Shop. He & his wife Sandy moved to Picayune permanently last year to enjoy farm life raising cows. He is the beloved and devoted husband of Sandra Pelegrin Chassaniol. Loving father of Brian Chassaniol (Melissa) and Danny Chassaniol (Jenny) and Baby Boy Chassaniol (deceased) Caring grandfather of Toby, Callen, Ayden and Logan Chassaniol. Son of the late Ernest Louis Chassaniol Jr. and Yvonne Dansereau Chassaniol. Brother of Cynthia Metcalf (William). Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. on Saturday, August 28, 2021. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the Funeral Mass to immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie.
