Frank Leo Taranto passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the age of 85. He was a native and lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA.
Frank was a veteran who proudly served in the United States Army. He spent many years as a faithful witness for Jesus Christ on Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. He touched the lives of many and showed the love of Christ through his life and his actions. He had a passion in helping others in need and presented this while giving food and clothing to the homeless and less fortunate. He was an inspiration to the younger generation. In his life he made many acquaintances and people sought him for spiritual guidance.
Son of the late Leo Frank Taranto and Philomena Najolia Taranto. Brother of the late Rosemary Taranto Radosta (Jerome). Uncle of Jerome F. "Jerry" Radosta, Jr. (Karen), Wayne Radosta (Terry), Don Radosta (Joan), Dale Radosta (Pam), Glenn Radosta (Gail), Frank Radosta (Becky) and Mark Radosta (Jill). Also survived by his dear friend and companion of many years, Claire Grieco, as well as many grand-nieces, grand-nephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
