Geneva Mae Trahan St. Germain

Geneva Mae Trahan St. Germain died on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at her home in Metairie, LA at the age of 96. She was the beloved mother of seven children, grandmother of 16 grandchildren and great grandmother of 24 children.
She grew up in White Castle, in a family of eight children and was the valedictorian of her high school class. She went on to attend Charity School of Nursing, becoming a registered nurse. She retired from Touro Infirmary after 30 years of service. She was a devoted member of St. Benilde Church and served on the Altar Society for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jules Trahan and Louise Schexnaydre Trahan, and her husband of 30 years, Emmett Joseph St. Germain.
She is survived by her seven children, David (Geralyn), Valerie, Mark (Gina), Thomas (Nancy), Michael (Beth), James (Melinda) and Andrew (Jeanne). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at St. Benilde Catholic Church, 1910 Division Street, Metairie, LA. 70001 with Visitation  from 10:30 am to Noon, Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm. Committal to Greenwood Cemetery will follow.
