George Kospelich Jr

George Kospelich, Jr on Sunday October 14, 2018 passed away after a long battle with lung cancer. George was a loving and devoted husband to Cynthia (Cindy) Hayes Kospelich for 54 years. He was preceded in death by his son George III, parents Rosemary and George Kospelich, Sr., brothers Richard and Rod Kospelich. A devoted and loving dad to Colleen and Ryan (Danielle), also father to Bridget. The light of his life, grandson Peyton. Whether it was watching football and baseball games together or his being able to stand-up and prepare cheesy juicy eggs for breakfast there wasn’t a thing he wouldn’t do for him. And last but never forgotten the little man, Liam. He leaves behind a loving and generous brother Russell Kospelich (Sharon) and sister Rosemary MCQueen. His telephone buddy sister-in-law Patricia Kospelich and sister-in-law Marilyn Kospelich. A brother-in-law Charles Hayes (Karen). He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. George also has a four-legged friends Thor, who stayed by his side and feet to the end and also Shay. He worked for Cooper/T. Smith for 27 years. Age 75, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Metairie. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday October 20, 2018 at St. Benilde Catholic Church, 1901 Division St. at 10:30 am with visitation at church beginning at 9:00 am.
