Geralyn P. White

Geralyn Pearl Passafume White passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the age of 58. She is survived by her beloved husband Bryan M. White Sr., daughters Chloe M. Langla (Allen R. Tufts III) and Victoria E. White (Adam N. Cohn), and son Bryan M. White, Jr. Loving daughter of the late Lloyd L. Passafume, Sr. and Alice Jane Oates. Beloved sister of Leslie J. Passafume, Lloyd L. Passafume Jr. (Carmen) and David J. Passafume, Sr. (Angela). Proud grandmother of Emberly A. Cohn. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Geralyn was born on December 29, 1963 in New Orleans, LA. She was a 1982 graduate of Mercy Academy. Geralyn spent her life sharing love and joy with those loved by her. She spent some of her happiest moments with family and friends traveling to amusement parks around the country. She loved spreading joy through gift giving especially during Christmas and family birthdays. She will always be remembered for not only the ability to find unique and personal gifts, but also for her ability to wrap it in a creative, fun and detailed way. She enjoyed her favorite time of year, Halloween, by watching horror movies and decorating the entire month of October. She also took great joy in being Mimi to our newest edition to the family whom she loved more than words can express.

Family and friends are invited to attend Geralyn’s Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Lion’s Club of Metairie, 1627 Metairie Road, Metairie, LA 70005 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please dress casual in a preferred purple to honor Geralyn.
