Gladys Lardizibal Muñoz was a vibrant wife, mother, and grandmother who lit up any room she walked into. She loved her family and friends with a ferocity that made everyone feel at home. Gladys enjoyed knitting, drinking coffee with her friends, doting on her loving husband, and spoiling each of her five grandchildren. She loved and cherished her children, Gabby Muñoz, Rene Arturo Muñoz, and Juan Carlos Muñoz, as she always ensured they were well taken care of.
Gladys fell in love with New Orleans and enjoyed living with Rene Arturo and Deysi Muñoz, as she felt adored and cared for by them . She worshiped her grandchildren Alexis Gavilanes, Daniel Muñoz, Melissa Gavilanes, Steven Muñoz, and JC Muñoz, and celebrated each of their accomplishments and accolades.
Gladys's faith in God strengthened and uplifted her in good
times and in bad. The love between Gladys and her husband of 57 years, Rene Muñoz, was and will always be unmatched.
Gladys' warm spirit, feisty attitude, and kind heart will be remembered and missed by every soul she touched.
