Gloria T Byrnes

Gloria Guglielmino Byrnes a native of New Orleans, LA passed away peacefully on October 8, 2018 at home with her three loving and devoted daughters by her side. A resident of Harahan, LA for the past 65 years Gloria is preceded in death by her late husband Louis P. Byrnes Jr., her parents John and Annie Guglielmino and her two brothers, Camile Fredia and Camelle Joseph . Gloria leaves behind three daughters, Diane Byrnes Penn, Betty Byrnes Robinson (Charles), and Carol Byrnes Austin (Thomas), two loving grandsons, Devin and Jared Austin, her sister Pauline Ourso, her brother in law and sister in law Tommy and Jane Mitchell, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Gloria was a loving mother and devoted wife, who loved spending time with her family. Gloria was a parishioner of St. Rita in Harahan for 65 years. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Tharp Sontheimer Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd, Metairie, LA on Thursday, October 11 at 12 PM. Visitation will begin at 11 AM in the morning. Interment will be at Cypress Grove Cemetery, New Orleans, LA immediately following the mass.
