Helen Janette Furgalack

Janette Furgalack, 79, of Laurel died July 27, 2018 at her son's residence in New Orleans.

Janette was a lifelong resident of Laurel and was a bookkeeper at Roger's Auto Parts for 30 years. She is survived by her children Frank Murphy and wife TJ Murphy, Cynthia Ferguson, Phillip Furgalack, Van Furgalack and his partner Martin McCord, as well as grandchildren Keith Cobb and Anna Bynum.

With a positive attitude and unrelenting persistence, she waged a brave battle with cancer, one she fought vigorously and with courage until her last day. Janette is an inspiration to all that witnessed her bravery and helped her through her journey. She is loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. We love you Mother.
