Josephine “Joey” Musso Murden, 82, of Covington, Louisiana passed away May 16, 2017 with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Anthony J. Musso, Sr. and Lucille Vanacor Musso. She married the love of her life, John “Johnny” W. Murden, Sr. in 1954 and together they had 46 years together of love and laughter. She loved to cook for her family and friends. She had a fantastic laugh which could always be heard above all others. She had a wonderful personality and welcomed everyone into her life as family. Joey as she was affectionately known devoted her life to Johnny and the family they created together. She is predeceased in death by her beloved husband - Johnny; sister – Aline Musso Mitchell; brother – Anthony “AJ” Musso, Jr. She is survived by her Children: Jolene Murden Salito, John W. Murden, Jr. (Darlene), and David J. Murden, Sr. (Laura); Grandchildren: Joseph Morello II (Rachel), Melissa Murden Smith (Joshua), Brooke Murden Doyle (Joseph), and David “DJ” Murden, Jr.; and Great-grandchildren: Chase, Lane, Jordon, Kaden, and Savannah Morello. She will forever be remembered with love by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N.
