Jesse W. Brookins, Jr, age 74, of Harahan, LA, passed away on November 1, 2018. He was born on March 21, 1944 to parents, Jesse W. and Mildred Brookins. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Brookins, son Gregory (Lori), mother, Mildred Brookins, brother, Kenneth Brookins (Alice) of Semmes, AL. Preceded in death by his father Jesse Brookins, Sr. He was a long time resident of Harahan, LA, was retired from Tulane Medical School after 36 years (30 years for the Chairman of Pharmacology Dr. Fisher and 6 years for Dr. George in Toxicology). Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N. Causeway on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 9:30 am until dismissal at 10:30 am.
