Joycelin Culotta, age 89 years, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the comfort of her home in Destrehan, LA on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Joycelin was born on March 19, 1932 in Houston, Texas to the late John A. Wolfram and the late Marguerite Ophelia Rachel. Joycelin was pre-deceased by her step-father Eugene Mirambell, Sr. Joycelin is survived by her faithful and devoted husband of 71 years, Frank P. Culotta, her two daughters Deborah A. Culotta (Burke), Bonnie Beck (Gerald Sr.), three grandchildren Gerald Beck Jr. (Jamie), Jessica Burke, Julie Morrow (Philip), and four great-grandchildren Caden, Gabby, Brendan and Regan. Joycelin is also survived by her sisters Bonnie Jean Mina and Irene Salles, and a host of nieces and nephews. Her brother, Eugene Mirambell Jr. has pre-deceased her.
Joycelin loved traveling especially with her husband and the other members of various antique and classic car clubs. She enjoyed quilting and was a wonderful cook. Joycelin chose cremation and requested no funeral nor any memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations to either the Heart Association or Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
