Mabel Aupied Gardner, born October 14, 1917, passed away on August 9, 2017 at her residence in Jefferson. Beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Gardner, Sr. Beloved mother of Raymond J. Gardner, Jr (Patricia). Daughter of the late Edgar and John Aupied. Grandmother of Robin, Raylynn and Raymond. Sister of the late Hattie Collins and Edgar Aupied, Jr. Also survived by other great and great great grandchildren. Aunt Mabel as she was known is also survived by nieces and nephews. Mabel was a parishioner of St. Agnes Catholic Church, a member of the Altar Society and volunteered wherever and whenever she was needed. She worked and retired from KPMG Accounting Firm, was past president of PBX Club of New Orleans and State of Louisiana, past president of Marian Auxiliary of Marian KC Council. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N.
