Marie Cardinale Felder

Marie Cardinale Felder passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at the age of 83. She was a native of Hammond, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. She was the devoted wife of the late Clarence A. Felder and lived her life loving everyone like Jesus, in the most self-sacrificial way. She was the loving mother of Sandra Barrett (Ken), David Scalia, Mark Scalia (Allison) and the late Glenn Scalia. Caring grandmother of Glenn Scalia, Elyse Scalia, Kylie Scalia, Blake Scalia, Jade Scalia, Kevin Barrett and Kenny Barrett. Great-grandmother of Hayley, Jaxson, Ezra and Alice Barrett. Daughter of the late Frances Cardinale. Sister of the late Joe Lewis and Angelina Polizzi. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Marie loved animals. She trained show dogs and loved to ride horses. She worked 16 years for the City of Kenner’s Recreational Department. She will be truly missed by all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. Metairie on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie.
