Mary Ann Federico

Miss Mary Ann Federico, age 80 years passed away August 8, 2018 in Metairie, LA. She was born September 30, 1937 to LuDivine St. Pierre Federico and Vincent Federico in New Orleans, LA. She was raised in Tampa, FL where she graduated from Sacred Heart high school and the University of Tampa with a degree in Education in 1960. She was a loving daughter and sister. She taught in Florida and Metairie, LA at St Rita’s for 38 years. She loved teaching her second grade and that was the joy of her life. She is preceded in death by her Mom and Dad, many uncles and aunts. She is survived by her two brothers Vincent (Maureen) and Roland (Rhonda); 14 nieces and nephews and great nephews and great nieces and her beloved companion of 12 years “Hans”. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at Tharp Sontheimer Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd, Metairie, LA on Saturday, August 25 at 10 AM. Visitation begins at 9:30 AM.
