Michael Kevin Eppling

Michael K. Eppling age, 51, of New Orleans lost his battle with Cancer on Friday, May 21, 2021.  He was born in New Orleans on April 8, 1970 to Charles and Dale Eppling.  Micheal graduated from Riverdale High School in 1988.  Michael loved animals, especially boxers and fish.  He maintained several tanks of  African cichlids.  Mike,as he is affectionately nicknamed, was an avid football fan. His favorite team was the New Orleans Saints.  He was a talented self-taught mechanic. Those who knew him well remember him with a glass of Iced coffee in hand.

Michael is preceded by his father, Charles Eppling, Jr. and grandparents, Dolores and Dale Weich and Dema and Charles Eppling, Sr. 

He is loved and survived by his mother, Dale Eppling, brother Joseph (Wanda) and sister Theresa Eppling Norris. Nieces: Bethany Eppling Chavez (Xavier), Kayleigh Eppling Binet (Daniel) and Taylor Bordelon; Aunts, Uncle, cousins and numerous friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday May 28, 2021 beginning at 1pm. at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, Causeway Blvd.  The family will receive visitors during the hours of 1-3pm.
