RITA HECKER

Rita Caillouet Hecker passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 at the age of 94. She was born on October 25, 1923 to the late Joseph Caillouet, Jr and Marie Landry Caillouet in New Orleans, LA. The beloved wife of the late Larry A. Hecker, Sr. she was also preceded in death by her siblings and spouses, Florian (Leona), Roger (Mercy), Lionel (Marie), Michael Caillouet, Louise (Spears) Ruben, Lucy Tabary (Paul) and Lilly Caillouet. She will be dearly missed by her children Sandra Hecker, Larry (Margie) Hecker, Sharon (Mike) Siemssen and Michael (Carolann) Hecker. Also her grandchildren Stephen (Ashley), Scott (Gisele) and Kate-Lyne Hecker and Jeffrey (Jill) Siemssen, Erica (Blake) LeBlanc and Jill (Ben) Lambert. She also leaves behind 9 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Benilde Catholic Church, 1901 Division St. Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 12:00 noon with visitation beginning at 10:30 am. Interment in Garden of Memories Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Arrangements by Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N.
