Roberto Zuniga

Roberto Zuniga Larrave, 91, passed away on May 13, 2018 at his home surrounded by family. Mr. Zuniga was the son of the late Rogerio Zuniga Soto and Maria Teresa Larrave Gomez. Brother of Nora Martin (Rodolfo). He was born May 13, 1927 in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Mr. Zuniga worked for Latin American Distributors for many years as traffic manager, and at the Hispanic Apostolate, Archdiocese of New Orleans, as a job counselor. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dora Zuniga Alvarado Spruch Hayes, his children, Patricia Lady (late William), Carlos Zuniga (Linda), his granddaughter, Stephanie Lady and his great-granddaughter, Sofia Karle. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd, on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon. Inurnment will be private.
