Virginia Starr Mangerchine

Virginia Starr Mangerchine passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at the age of 68. She was born in Houston, TX and a resided in Metairie, LA. Jinny's kids and grandkids were the light of her life and the greatest legacy she leaves behind. Devoted wife of Allan E. Mangerchine. Loving mother of Durel Yates, Jr. (Ember) and Matthew Yates (Tabitha). Caring Maw Maw of Lilianna, Caitlyn, Christian, and Colton Yates. Son of the late David F. Adamson Sr. and Margaret K. Adamson. Sister of the late David F. Adamson Jr. and Victoria Slaughter. Daughter in law of May Mangerchine. Lifelong best friend of Rose and Wayne McKenzie. She is survived by brother and sister in laws, many nieces, nephews, and a host of beloved friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial gathering on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Tharp Sontheimer Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N.
