Lena Doyle Anderson entered into her eternal life on November 1, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, John Gormley Anderson, Jr., her parents, Thomas Joseph and Florence Moller Doyle, her sisters, Dorothea Doyle Bourgeois, Mildred Bourg Upton and Kathlyn Bourg Mulkey. Devoted mother of John Gormley Anderson, III and wife, Lea’ Le Compte Anderson. She is also survived by her grand-children: John Gormley Anderson, IV, (Alison), Ingrid Anderson McRae (Charles) and Benjamin Harrison Anderson (Carol), and six great-grandchildren: Taylor, Brett, Olivia and Sarah Anderson, Jessica McRae Garland and Lauren McRae. She is survived by her two sisters, Joan D. Meeks and Florence D. Benefield, also, loving nieces and nephews. Lena was a member of AARP-Chapter # 725. A private service was held.
