May B. O’Donnell, passed away on June 22, 2017, at the age of 89. May was born May 26, 1928 in New Orleans to Clara Bordes Doyle and Frank Burroughs. She was a resident of Jefferson, LA, since she was a young child where she grew up on a dairy farm which was run by her mother and uncles. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. O’Donnell whom she married on February 2, 1952 after WWII. They lived in Metairie until his passing April 6, 2006 where she still resided until her death. Beloved mother of Kenneth J. O’Donnell (Theresa) and Patrick G. O’Donnell. Loving grandmother of Christopher J. O’Donnell (Kristen) and Christine E. O’Donnell. Great grandmother of Carson Jude O’Donnell. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Catholic Memorial Service at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 1:00 pm with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Inurnment to follow at a later date in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
